Bhaashi is a small, founder-led company. We make products around language: stories, words and the voices that carry them. The first is Stories, which began with a parent making up a new chapter for their child every night.
The name
In Hindi, bhaashi means a speaker of a language, as in Hindi-bhaashi, a Hindi speaker. Our mark is the letter b drawn as a speech bubble, because everything we make starts with someone saying something to someone they love.
What we believe
- Calm over clever. A bedtime product should make the evening quieter, not louder. No streaks, no badges, nothing designed to keep anyone up.
- Private by default. Families trust us with their children's names and imaginations. We collect the least we can, show no ads, and never sell data.
- Small and finished. We would rather ship one thing that works every single night than ten that mostly work.
- Honest about the machine. Stories uses AI to write and to read aloud. We say so plainly, and a parent always sees the chapter before a child hears it.
